2015 Race for the Cure Demonstration
AmKor Karate Institutes participates in a martial arts demonstration at the Susan G. Komen 2015 Race for the Cure event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 10th. This event brings tens of thousands of people together to raise money to aid in the fight against breast cancer. Our students and instructors who helped with the demonstration are:
- Master Stuart Tierney, 6th dan
- Master Erica Tierney, 5th dan and assistant instructor of the Aston Gym
- Master Michael Campagnini, 5th dan and head instructor of the Coatesville Gym
- Master Amie Maguire, 4th dan
- Ms. Karli Chambers
- Ms. Colleen Troxel
- Ms. Jordan Slaughter
- Adam Pratt
During the demonstration we did the warmup drill, kicking, fighting, and breaking from 9:00 am and lasted until 10:45 am. We appreciate the great opportunity to be a part of the 2015 Race for the Cure Demonstration and participate in the fight against breast cancer.

The 2015 Race for the Cure started at Eakins Oval at the Philadelphia Art Museum. The event brings together 40,000 individuals who participate in the fight against breast cancer. Susan G. Komen donates millions of dollars each year to fund this battle and has made great strides and financial help for women struggling with breast cancer.
